In this webinar, we review the input filter stability problem that is caused by the negative dynamic input resistance of the converter. We present various input impedance measurement methods and discuss the damping of the input filter resonance. Based on a lab-experiment a bad input filter design is presented and the impact on the loop gain as well as on the transient response is shown in live measurements.
