In this document, Jan Petrik derives a Spice model for Op-Amp stability based on real-live bench measurements.

The document starts with the basics of operational amplifier stability and deals with the measurement of open-loop gain, open-loop output impedance, input impedance etc. The measurements are all explained in detail and common pitfalls are described.

Jan Petrik is a hardware engineer with more than 9 years of experience in hardware design. He graduated with honors from Czech Technical University in Prague in 2013.
