Machine vision-, high speed camera- and industrial automation applications require an accurate time synchronization.

The video shows how the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) according IEEE 1588-2008 can be used to synchronize cameras for such applications.

PTP capable devices can be synchronized with the antenna integrated PTP grandmaster clock OTMC 100.  Cameras requiring an IRIG-B time code for synchronization can be integrated into PTP infrastructures by using the PTP time converter TICRO 100.
