High-Pass Filter

In this article Aris Kuball and Günther Klenner explain how to design a high-pass filter that is used to measure conducted emissions.

This document discusses a real-life customer problem where a customer wanted to measure the high-frequency distortions above 150 kHz. Due to the presence of high low-frequency distortions that dominate in a SMPS, the high-frequency distortions are hard to measure. The following article shows the description and buildup of a 150 kHz high-pass filter that suppresses the low-frequency distortions making it easier to measure the high-frequency conducted emissions.
