Audio System Measurements

Learn how the Bode 100 can be used to measure the frequency dependent characteristics of audio amplifiers and the impedance of loudspeakers as well as the voltage transfer function of audio crossovers.

Audio Amplifier Frequency Response

This application note shows how to measure the frequency dependent characteristics of audio amplifiers.

The Bode 100 can be easily used to measure the 3 dB bandwidth or the influences of different settings of the sound system's equalizer. The output and input impedances of the sound system can also be measured easily. Loudspeaker and Audio Crossover Measurements

This application note shows how to measure the impedance of loudspeakers as well as how to measure the voltage transfer function of audio crossovers.

With the Bode Analyzer Suite, it is very easy to visualize the measurements of both paths of the frequency crossover as well as to export the measurement to a csv document. In the application note, it is also showed how to measure the impedance of the loudspeakers and it can be seen how nonlinear the impedance of the loudspeakers are.
